Breaking :Numan/Demsa Killings: A Ploy to Discredit Bindow in 2019.

The Executive Director, centre for leadership and accountability forum, Mr. David Samson has advised Adamawa resident and the Numan Federation not to permit the politicization of the killings in different parts of the State. According to him, “the reason why you are seeing killings around Numan axis is a calculated plot to dehumanized Bindow ahead of 2019, in as much as we know there are pockets of crisis between Farmers and Herdsmen, we fault in totality the accusation from one of the gubernatorial aspirant in Adamawa that Bindow is watching while Numan killings continue unabated. He made the statement yesterday speaking to our correspondent in an interactive Interview in Yola. Samson added that there were those who is planning to benefit politically from the tragedies, in Numan/Demsa, he fingered Adamawa opposition as the perpetrators. He added: “Again we see some people today who want to benefit politically from the killing of women and children in Adamawa, and as such stoking the embers of ethnicity and religion. By their hate speeches they want to fix the criminal acts of a few individuals on whole ethnic groups, they want to create a religious crises if they are allowed.” “Our obligation is to expose them, if we remember the killings in one of the churches in Yola, in 2012, where gun men storms one of the new generation church to kill worshippers just few days to 2012 gubernatorial election in Adamawa. What is happening in Numan is the semblance of what  played out in 2012 gubernatorial contest between a former Governor and the opposition politicians. Adamawa Opposition politicians playing dangerous politics that could threaten our unity and stability, having seen the Governor has developed the Numan federation, the opposition want to cash into the crisis to score cheap political points ahead of 2019” Mr. Samson opined.
