Super Eagles vice-captain Ahmed Musa has just lost his mother in Abuja hospital after Al Nassr star announced it via his Twitter handle a hours ago.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international noted that it is a sad day in his life, as he shared a photo of himself and his mother, during a chieftaincy title ceremony.
Sarah Moses died on Thursday in a private hospital in Abuja at the age 62 after a brief illness as Musa who is currently in Nigeria is reportedly injured and has been ruled out of action for his club side Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.


The former Leicester City forward was named Sportsman of the year by several bodies following his exploits for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Details about the burial arrangements of his beloved mother are yet to be announced. However, several Nigerians have taken to social media to send their condolences to the football star.
