Pastor Moses Oyeleke, a pastor of the Living Faith Church, who was abducted by Boko Haram on 10 April 2019 alongside a woman, Ndagilaya Ibrahim Umar of Government Science Secondary School, Askira Uba in Borno State have finally regained their freedom.

Moses Oyeleke and Ndagilaya Ibrahim Umar were both released on Sunday. According to reports, their release was facilitated by “the active support, logistics and intelligence from the Nigerian Army and the DSS” in collaboration with the Initiative For Peace-building Movement and Kalthum Foundation For Peace.

After being released, Pastor Oyeleke headed to church to give praises to God and he is now safely at home.

It was also gathered that due to the latest understanding and the peaceful nature of the pastor’s release, many of those that were abducted may soon regain their freedom under the initiative of Governor Zulum.
