Nigerian entertainment journalist and writer, Joey Akan has opined that Nigerian music history and success were built on cybercrime.
In a tweet he shared, the journalist averred that yahoo boys (online fraudsters) funded and kept alive an industry with no institutional or corporate funding.
He stated Afrobeats Hall will never be complete without honourary mentions to Yahoo boys who funded and kept the industry alive.
