Have you been there? Or you rely on what you read? – Police spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, chides Nigerians quick at referring to advanced countries in whatever argument they have about Nigeria

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, this morning took to his Twitter handle to chide Nigerians who are quick at referring to advanced countries and how things are done over there whenever they are having an argument about Nigeria.

In his tweets, Adejobi asked if these people have been to the ‘advanced countries’ or rely on what they have read. He averred that people shouldn’t believe all they read but try to form their argument on experiences.

His tweets read

”Hmm, people always refer to advanced countries in whatever argument they have, but come to think of it, have you been there? Or you rely on what you read? Seeing is believing, see it, and believe, so that you have first hand info.

Not all the time we refer to adv countries in our own issue. Pick the good, and leave the bad of the foreign ideas or ideologies. My take.”
