A lady has been grabbed by capable cops for taking an infant at an emergency clinic in Anambra state.

A 35-year elderly person, Dorathy Sunday of Izzi, Ebonyi State has been captured by the Anambra State Police Command for taking a five days old twin child kid at the maternity ward of the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi, Anambra state.

The order Public Relation Officer, PPRO, SP Haruna Mohammed, who uncovered the capture in a press discharged at police base camp Awka, said at about 5:50 pm, on Wenesday 30th January 2019, Police investigators joined to Central Police Station (CPS) Nnewi captured one Dorathy Sunday ‘f’ matured 35 years of Izzi of Ebonyi State for taking a child.

As indicated by Mohammed, the suspect sneaked into the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi and stole a five days old twin infant kid at the maternity ward of the medical clinic when the mother of the child, one Mmadu Happiness Miracle ‘f” Aged 22 years of Uruagu, Nnewi went to the emergency clinic compound to wash her garments.

In the mean time, the stolen infant was recuperated in great condition and the case is under scrutiny after which suspect would be charged to court for arraignment.
