It was gathered that two persons died in the clash. It was learnt that many members of the IPOB were also injured. An eyewitness said over 10 IPOB members were arrested. Efforts to reach the Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, Daniel Ndukwe, were not successful as of the time of filling this report. Also, the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdurraham, did not answer his calls.
