American R&B star, Chris Brown was arrested in Paris on Monday after a woman filed a report of aggravated rape against him.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Chris Brown denied allegations that he raped a woman in his hotel room in Paris last week.
“I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!” he wrote, calling the allegations “DISRESPECTFUL” and “AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS.” He paired the statement with an image reading, “THIS B!TCH LYIN’”.
Though Paris officials say the investigation into the allegations are ongoing, Brown was released from custody on Tuesday without any charges.
Brown’s 24-year-old accuser told French publication Closer that on January 16, she was at Brown’s suite at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, along with some of his friends and about a dozen other women. There, she said, he forced himself on her.
He makes me enter a sort of walk-in closet,” the woman, only identified as Karima, told the British mag. “He closes the door … It lasted 25 to 30 minutes.
“It’s still too difficult for me to explain in detail what he did to me,” she added. “But it was brutal and violent. He was menacing and aggressive. I was very afraid.”
She also told Closer that one of Brown’s friends sexually abused her, and that she was raped by Brown’s bodyguard. “All I wanted was to go home. I was so scared,” she said. “They were three strong, aggressive and menacing men. There was nothing I could do.”
Though it appears Brown, who was convicted of assaulting Rihanna in 2009, will not face charges regarding these allegations, he was recently sued by a woman who claimed he raped her in his home in Los Angeles; he was arrested in July on an outstanding warrant for felony battery, and in June a 24-year-old woman was granted a restraining order against him after she alleged he harassed and stalked her.
