A 44-year-old man, Rafiu Moruf, has been arrested for defiling his neighbor’ 6-year-old daughter in Ogun State.

The suspect was arrested on Monday after the girl opened up to her mother after the latter noticed she was acting strangely.

Moruf, said to be living with his wife behind Aferiku Secondary School, Idiroko, allegedly penetrated the child, leaving injuries in her private part.

According to the state’s police P.R.O, Abimbola Oyeyemi, “Upon close examination, the woman discovered semen inside the girl’s private part. .

She questioned the girl and she revealed that the suspect took her into his room and had canal knowledge of her. .

On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the commission of the crime. The victim has been taken to hospital for medical treatment and report.”
