The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has adjourned the announcement of results of the presidential election till 11 am on Monday.
Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the commission, made the announcement after declaring the collation center open.
Earlier, Yakubu had said the exercise would commence at 11 am. He said the resident electoral commissioner (REC) of Ekiti state was on his way to the International Conference Center (ICC) in Abuja with the results of the state, giving the impression that the announcement will kick off with the results of Ekiti.
