The EF-4 tornado recently tore through Lee County and destroyed a house in Alabama, but surprisingly, nothing happened to the prayer closet within the house.
According to reports, one Christian Family who miraculously survived, the disaster, was huddled inside the prayer closet in their home and it was left untouched by the raging storm.
About 23 people were killed in the incident, including four children.
Catastrophic events like this can be devastating and hard to come to grips with, but one eyewitness says this proves God’s power to protect.
Jason Smith, a chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, who witnessed the incident went public with the story to offer some inspiration. And the images he shared from that house have gone viral.
