A Boeing 737 with 136 on board after landing, slides into St. John’s River near Jacksonville, Florida in the US.

The Boeing 737 is a charter plane that was travelling from Cuba to north Florida ended up in a river at the end of a runway late Friday night, a spokesman revealed.

According to Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, the plane went into the St. Johns River in Jacksonville Friday.

“I’ve been briefed that all lives have been accounted for,” the mayor tweeted.

Boeing 737 slid off of a runway into the St. Johns River at 9:40 p.m, A spokesman from the Naval Air Station Jacksonville said. The station told CNN affiliate WJXT that the plane appears to have skidded off the airport runway while trying to land and ended up in the river.

The Naval Air Station Jacksonville, the plane crashed into the river at the end of the runway.

“Navy security and emergency response personnel are on the scene and monitoring the situation,” the station said.

Reports say that no life was lost but some on board were left with injuries.

About a month ago, Trump ordered the grounding of all Boeing 737 Max 8 & 9 planes in America. The President told reporters that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will ground the planes in question in the US as part of an emergency order, “until further notice”
