It is unclear what led to the maltreatment of the young Nigerian, but it was heard on the video when another Nigerian man stated that he is being beaten because he asks for his money.
In his words:
Why are you beating him?
Why are they are beating him?
Is he a criminal?
Is he a thief?
Is he a drug dealer?
Because he’s asking for his money, only three days he was sick, he didn’t come that’s the reason.
Indicating that he may have been off work for 3 days because he was sick and his boss may have fired him and refused to pay him for the other days he worked, probably he is undocumented in the country and doing blackwork in the company.
