The largest online scam syndicate believed to be run by Chinese nationals in Malaysia has been bursted by Malaysian Immigration on Wednesday, November 20.
During the raid by the Malaysia Immigration department, about 1,000 people were arrested at the headquarters of an online scam in Cyberjaya.
A video being circulated online shows people scattering and fleeing from the premises while a few were caught trying to escape and pinned to the floor.
The pictures posted by the Immigration department on Facebook shows some of the suspects in the office, standing with their hands at the back of their heads and another picture shows some others sitting on the floor.
A press conference is expected to hold today.
