Reno Omokri, a former media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has said that what Nigerian leaders need to borrow wisdom than a loan.
This is coming on the heels of the plan by the Federal Government to borrow $29.6 billion to finance some project in year 2020.
Omokri, who had said he would stop criticising the President Muhammadu Buhari administration took to his Twitter page, noting that it has tripled Nigeria’s debt more than 30 years said sense should be borrowed.
“In 2020, instead of Nigeria’s leaders to borrow $29.6 billion, what they should borrow is WISDOM. In the last 4 years, this administration has tripled our foreign debt by borrowing more than in the last 30 years COMBINED. Borrow sense not money!

He also counselled Nigeria’s large churches to hold a Business Development Seminar instead of just a Holy Ghost Convention in the new year.
I know I may be insulted. But let me counsel Nigeria's large churches. Instead of just a Holy Ghost Convention, this New Year, also hold a Business Development Seminar, so that believers can learn to work for MIRACLE MONEY and not just PRAY for it!#FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets

I really wish pastors would stop giving New Year predictions. Many of them don’t come true. And many of those that do come true are so vague they could have referred to anyone. It undermines believers’s faith and, frankly are NOT necessary#FreeLeahSharibu #RenosNuggets
