A mother has made her 5-year-old daughter wear a sign on her back, so she won’t be shamed as they go out shopping amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
A number of countries around the world are currently on lockdown because of the coronavirus pandemic. The pandemic has claimed over 100,000 lives, while over two million people have been infected globally.
So as to restrict the spread of the virus, many people across the globe are only allowed to go out for exercise or to stock up on necessities such as food and medication.
Some stores have also not allowed children to enter their premises, and this has been proven to be a problem for single parents.
One single mum, MaryAnn, who was recently shamed for taking her 5-year-old daughter to the supermarket with her, decided to take matters into her own hands.
She created a sign which she put on her daughter’s back, informing strangers of their situation, and it read;
“I am only five. I can’t stay home alone so I have to buy groceries with mommy.
“Before you start judging, stay back six feet.”
Taking to Facebook, she shared a photo of her daughter wearing the signwriting;
“The sign I made her wear cuz I just know some dumb*** will take a picture and talk s**t on social media not knowing all the facts.
