Nigerian soldiers have allegedly attacked a remote community, Umu-Ogudu Akpu Ngbo, in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State.
The attacked reportedly happened at midnight at about 1:am on the 18th of April 2020, they set houses on fire, killed innocent citizens and abducted some.

In a video shared on social media, some residents can be seen crying over their loss as the reason for the alleged military attack is still unknown. Elderly women, were also seen lamenting recounting their ordeal.

A social media user who shared the news wrote:
“How many of you are aware that Nigeria army invaded a remote community called,Umu-Ogudu Akpu Ngbo,in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State. Between the hours of 1:am on 18th of April 2020,they invaded the entire remote villages,burn down houses,shot every living creatures at sight,kidnapped some persons and made away with some corpses of those they killed. Those who sustained different degrees of injuries are in the hospital receiving treatment.
“Up till now,the reason for the military onslaught has remained the same on the lips of many Ngbo indigenes,they refused to allow Fulanis to occupy their land via Benue/Ebonyi borderland.
“Watching the video evidences of the unfortunate onslaught makes me to shed tear,as the elderly mothers were crying having lost everything that sustains their livelihood.
“That’s Nigeria for you,a country that unabatedly engaging an uncalled war to her suppose helpless citizens. He said.
