The Edo community in Germany has come out openly to disowned Germany base Edo man, Murphy Uyi after it was alleged that he is the President of Edo Community in Germany.
This was made known on a publication on the official Facebook page of Independence Television/Radio (ITV) Edo.
According to the representative of the Union Uyi Osunde, who spoke from Benin City, saying that the declarations of Murphy came as shock to him because he has never in anytime been a member of the Association.
“We do not know or have any connection with the above name person(Murphy Uyi).
He is not a president of our community as he had said in one of his online presentations, therefore any person who has anything to do with him, including the passing of insult on the Oba of Benin, his Royal Majesty Oba Ewaure II will have himself or herself to blame.
Anyone who is an enemy to the palace of the Oba of Benin is an enemy to our community and to the entire Edo State as a whole” stated Osunde Uyi.
Osunde added that the Edo Association in Germany holds the Benin Monarch Oba Ewaure II high esteem and can never descend so low to challenge the Monarch’s authority.

Murphy Uyi who is known for his unfavourable utterances against the Benin Monarch, Oba Ewaure II on social media. According to Murphy Uyi, he is fighting for and aiming to liberate the people of Edo. He has severally made some negative declarations about the Monarch, accusing him of illegal sale of lands in Edo State, accused him also of his alleged rough lifestyle, how he got his cousin ‘Imarhiabe’ pregnant, how he sleeps with multiple women at a go and married two biological sisters etc, these affirmations made some Edo people label him an ‘Oghionba’ (enemy of the palace), curses have been sworn on him to die, strong Obos (Witch doctors) have pronounced a set time for him to die and join the ancestors.
