Former presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri has waded into the conversation centered on Talibans not wanting the Western lifestyle.
This conversation was ignited by report of Talibans taking control of Afghan presidential palace in Kabul, Afghanistan, with government officials and citizens fleeing the country.
Omokri who shared his thoughts on Talibans not wanting the Western lifestyle, wondered if they are more backward than westerners who believe that polygamy is barbaric, but gay marriage is civilised.
Acknowledging that their version of Islam requires women to cover up their bodies in public, he however asked if it is worse than forcing young girls to use the same public toilets as grown men who have decided that they are no longer men and are now women.
Stressing that we often see the condemnation of radical Islamic extremism but ignore Western liberal extremism, Omokri concluded by sharing report of Scotland issuing a guideline which allows four year old children to change their genders without informing their parents or seeking consent.
He wrote;

Last week, Scotland issued a guideline allowing four year old children change their genders WITHOUT INFORMING THEIR PARENTS OR SEEKING THEIR CONSENT. How is that civilisation? Let the West not confuse moral decay for moral high ground because they have military power!
