Who wouldn’t want to travel solo on a flight, right? It’s after all an experience not many get to enjoy in their life. You need to be rich, or extremely lucky, to have the whole aircraft to yourself.

For this man, it was the latter. Kai Forsyth has revealed the ‘weird experience’ of being the only passenger on an 8-hour flight from the UK to the US.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impeded every aspect of life, travelling has been no different. The impact has meant that many international and domestic flights have been running low on passengers ever since the pandemic began.

Kai Forsyth would have expected at least a few passengers on the flight he was travelling on, but he was left shocked when he was the only one on board the eight-hour flight.

Without wanting to let the opportunity go to waste, he started documenting his unique experience.

“The cabin crew said I was the only person on board the flight,” before filming the empty cabin surrounding him,” he wrote on the video.

To make himself comfortable, Forsyth took advantage of the space and made himself a makeshift bed on an entire row of seats.

“It was 8 hours so I set up a bed. Literally the comfiest I’ve been on a plane,” the on-screen text read.
