Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki who visited the traders at Ekiosa market in Benin City, Edo State capital to sympathize with the traders after their goods worth millions of Naira was razed down by fire yesterday, (read here).
Speaking to the traders in Pidgin English, the governor pointed out that what happened wasn’t a coincidence but a set up to discredit his government, resounding it that the fire incident was a deliberate attack.
He announces the release of N100m to compensate the victims.
The market women reaffirmed their support and love for the Governor.
