The Benin traditional ruler, Oba Ewuare II N’ogididan, speaking at Reverend Felix Omobude’s Church, Gospel Light International Ministries also known as New Covenant Gospel Church, during the church event stated that he was instructed by God to be present at the event.
“When I received the invitation, God spoke to me immediately that I must be here,” he said
Oba Ewaure II, who seems to be very familiar with Bible verses exalted God in English and Bini languages, said he had to listen and obey the voice of God almighty, the omnipotent and the omnipresent God.
He also added that it would be his first time in a Pentecostal Church since his commencement as the King of Benin.
“This will be the very first time that I will be attending a Pentecostal Church of God almighty since assertion to the thrown which God Almighty has graciously put me”.
“I’ve always known that it not by my power, it is not by the power of man but by the power of God almighty, that has led me from birth to the thrown”.
The Benin monarch encouraged the congregation to have faith in God to overcome the challenges of life.
“As everybody else you may not know it, we all have our challenges here and there, but I can assure you with faith in God Almighty you will overcome all those challenges, you must overcome all those challenges because God Almighty is on your side”… He added
